I specialize in sports type injuries, back and neck problems, injuries of joints and preventative treatments for healthy lifestyles, similar to an orthopedic type clinic with acupuncture.

My journey in healing others began in 1974 at Sparks Judo and Jujitsu Dojo in Reno/Sparks, Nevada. I mastered Danzan Ryu jujitsu (7th degree black belt) along with Seifukujitsu, a healing tradition which dates over a thousand years. I studied and practiced these arts as a hobby until 1998.
In 1998, I moved to Hawaii and continued to study and practice healing arts. I received a Master's Degree in the Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii (TCMCH) in December 2000. I opened my acupuncture and massage business the same year and have offered a combination of Seifukujitsu and acupuncture.
I offer a combination of Seifukujitsu and Tui na (massage and adjustments). Seifukujitsu, is a healing tradition which dates over a thousand years. Seifukujitsu utilizes therapeutic bodywork consisting of restorative massage and bone manipulation, or adjustments. This unique deep-tissue style is a mindful practice perfected by Samurai instructors and later Japanese doctors in pre-westernized Japan. The treatment employs the use of fingers, palms, forearms and elbows in an exacting kata (form) that traces many of the body's muscle channels recognized in Asian healing practices. The therapy increases range of motion in the joints and assists circulation.
